Now Booking 2021!

Happy New Year Friends! It has been really quiet over here this winter. I've been preparing for a really busy spring/summer with multiple St. Louis Weddings on the calendar. While some events still look a bit different, it's really exciting that so many celebrations are moving forward in 2021!

My schedule is now officially open for the spring and summer months for St. Louis, MO Portrait Sessions. A new 2021 pricing guide is available below and updated on the investment page.

Step 1:

Reserve your date/time and pay the session fee! The session fee covers all of the bullet points below.

I loved working with this family so much! They wanted to schedule a family session downtown St. Louis and incorporate our beautiful city into their shoot. We worked our way through Kiener Plaza, the Capitol building, the St. Louis Arch grounds…and it was so much fun. It was great to catch up with all of you [W] Family! I hope you enjoy all of these images of your beautiful family.

Why You Should Book a Summer Photo Session in St. Louis!

5 Reasons Why You Should Book A Family Photo Session During The Summer

You might be thinking that summer is way too hot for a family photo session, or too early to shoot your holiday card photos. Fall is the most popular season to shoot in the St. Louis area of course! The reality, though, is that you have likely had photo sessions during the fall season in the past, maybe every year! Summer is a great time to create fresh art for your walls and document family, newborns, children and high school seniors during a different season. Here’s why…

COLORS

Summertime is so colorful and is an amazing time to schedule your photo session. The flowers are blooming and the landscaping is so green and well maintained.

TIME

With summer sessions there's no stress of having to make room in your schedule for planning, shopping, and all the extra stuff that shows up on the calendar when school begins! The kids are also more relaxed and have the ability to sleep in or take a longer nap, making it possible to shoot later in the evening in that gorgeous golden sunset light.

WEATHER

Okay, it does get pretty hot and humid in St. Louis, BUT my schedule is also more flexible. We can book a date, but I always keep an eye on the weather for cool days. I am more flexible in the summer to move sessions around for weather. Plus early morning and late evening shoots are pretty comfortable even on the hot days.

OUTFITS

There are so many great clothing options during the summer. The kids will be happy in shorts and sun dresses. You can skip the shoes and the kids can go barefoot. It is much easier to dress the kids in summer clothes than pants and bulky sweaters.

Sessions are amazing throughout the year, but it is nice to shoot a variety of seasons for your family memories! And yes, you can still use those summer photos for your holiday cards.
